Copydrop is built so that we can't see your data — not so that we promise not to look.

The app

Your clipboard history never leaves your Mac. Everything Copydrop stores is kept locally on your device.
Zero network calls during normal use. The app talks to the network only to check for updates (Sparkle, no personal data attached) and to validate a license key when you enter one (the key and a device label are sent to our merchant, Polar — nothing else).
No account. No telemetry. No analytics. We collect nothing about how you use the app.
Passwords are excluded by default. Content marked confidential by password managers and macOS is never recorded.

Purchases

Purchases on this website are processed by Polar (merchant of record), who handle payment details and receipts under their own privacy policy. Purchases on the Mac App Store are handled entirely by Apple. We receive no card data in either case.

This website

copydrop.app uses PostHog (EU-hosted) to understand aggregate visits — pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate country. No advertising trackers, no data sale. Session recordings mask all text inputs.
